My uncle told me that timeing gears made a sort of whine kinda like a S/C. just wondering if anybody can back this up or has a vid clip of a car with timeing gears.

I've seen the pete jackson set put in before and it took a lot of grinding to clear the timing cover. They really weren't loud either like I though it would be. You could tell it wasn't a supercharger under the hood by listening to it.

idk i think im gunna just start lookin aroundand see which is most recommended. i just want the whine sound cuz i dont think my block would take the abouse of a S/javascript:void(opener.AddText('[sm\=smiley2.gif]')); self.focus();C and im not pullin my engine....yet [sm=smiley2.gif]
