I would recommend the Trick Flow Street or Track Heat intakes.

What mods do you have? We can't just tell you to get one over the other without knowing what you have.

Some people say that they are unhappy with the BBK SSI intake. I just baught an Edelbrock Performer RPM 2 upper and lower. And both the Trick flows that Scout2232 mentioned are both really good too.

You can start with a Cold Air Intake. That seems to be a good start for every one. I haven't started it yet but doing suspension work would definatly be a good lont term mod.

Either of those TrickFlow intakes or the Edelbrock RPM2 would be good for you then. You probably won't see a huge gain with just slappin' your new intake on there, but if you added new heads and a cam to the mix you can really start pushing some nice numbers. FRPP, Holley, TrickFlow and Edelbrockall sell top end packages that replace heads intake and cam along with some other things. I don't know how much money you have to spend or how patient you are for that though, all those run around $2000+.

I also agree with that with the whole H/C/I swap. The only reason i didn't get the cam and heads is because im just going to get a 331 stroker, and do heads and cam then. Plus i also figure you can't really hurt the intake just cause your making air flow better through there.
