Whats the differnce between Long tube and Shortys?
I have right now BBK 1 5/8 shorty headers with H pipe and 40 series flows.. im going for 600hp with a D-1 procharger.. would u guys recommend long tubes? I dont know whats the difference in them? do they help hp or heat or somthing? also would u guys wrap ur headers with that heat wraping?

For 600 horse you will need long tubes you will see nice gain, heat wrap help keep the heat in the header and away from the engine which means engine will run quicker.

ok 1st off... use the search feature...
2nd, for 600 hp, well we no u wont get that high w. the stock block
3rd. for 600 hp, long tubes it is
4th header wrap keesp more heat in the headers and not the engine bay, but causes condensation to stay in them, and makes them rust out quicker

kewl stang.. anyone recommend a certain kind?? dose anyone have problems with BBK long tubes?? also 1 3/4 would be kinda big u think for a 9:1 compression motor?

well.. its still being built.. i dont have all my parts but i got street fighter kit.. just bought a P-1 with D-1 internals.. 42lb injectors 90mm maf and 90mm t/b.. i also have a 80mm maf i dont knowwhat one to use yet.. umm i think the Box R intake is what im going to buy. i haveTrack heatheads .. im going to buy a B31 blower cam from anderson.. its got 4340 forged crank forged rods n pistons i think they said the block was good for 600? i duno if ill get the full 600 but Im going to run the 12LB pulley at first get it tuned like that. Then see what i can do from there. Ill atleast have 500.. if not ill tair it apart again. but help me out any way if u can.. thanks guys.. this sites really helping me builda dam good car.. that and my wallet is srinking.. how every u spell it lol..
