Anyone have any idea what could cause me to keep blowing up fuel pumps? I just put in a new fuel pump 3 days ago and now i turn the key on and there is no pump sound. The car almost starts but doesn't. Its a 86 5.0. The fuel pump relay was kind of warm to the touch but i also replaced that. Thanks in advance.

 

Are u buying a cheap a** autozone pump. Puttwo in my friends stang and never worked. Got a FMS pump. It started right upand ran fine.

 

I bought a new pump from Autozone 3 days ago and it already went bad. Im going to take it out today. I figured that it would work so i bought it.
