not much less than a 302 depends on the tune and the way u drive figure 3-4 mpg less if its fairly stock and kept injected

if your gonna mod a 351w, you shouldnt worry about gas mileage.... otherwise youll never drive it.

lol..ya thats wut a friend told me but i just wanted to make sure so i wouldnt run out be4 any of my pay checks or im spendin more on gas then i am on it

There are far too many variables left open to even try to answer this.

If you keep the build conservative, you should be pretty close to 20mpg on the hwy.

My 408w was doing about 17mpg on average, and crested the 20's on the hwy.

Primary factors would probably be the cam and Injector/MAF setup.
If you get those right (for YOUR application), then you should still be able to hit close to 20 on the hwy.
