Default Low Rear

Hey guys I've noticed that the rear of my stang looks really low for some odd reason. I only took it out once this year and I noticed that when I really stepped on it it would make a really weird noise like something in the back was loose. On the rear drivers sideI can barely get my hand in between the fender and the top of the tire The tires are inflated to 32 psi and the shocks are pretty new. Any ideas?? I don't ever remember the rear of the car being that low! Could it be my springs?

push down on the rear of the car if it bounces up and down more than twice replace shocks if thats good take a ruler and measure the ride height of the rear of the car on each side if that is significantly different (1.5-3in) you either need too replace your control arms ormost likelysprings this is assuming your tires are the same size and at the same psi

I pushed down on the back bumper and it came up right away and may have bounced once. Then I took a measurement from the garage floor to the bottom of my body kit right next to the tire and it came to roughly 10". Does that sound right to you? How far off the ground is the normal heightof a fox body on the back end? Thanks for your help so far guys!!!
