I'm thinkin' X-pipe is why. Dumps wont make that much difference. It will just make it louder in the car.

and dumps make a very big difference in how loud it is, cut it off after the mufflers and leave them pointing straight back it will be LOUD.
but a H/C/I package will louden it up lots too.

go 3" and weld in some SLP1 resonators inplace of the mufflers (save u about $275 than buyin the whole catback)
get some longtube headers with an h-pipe or prochamber

My car was hella loud last year, I had heads, cam, gt40 manifolds, bbk shorties, or h-pipe, and 2.5" duals that dumped to 40 series straight out, just before the rear end. It was loud in the car, literally shook the damn, but didn't seem SO loud outside, but it was definitley LOUD.
This year I went carbed, and I'm picking up some longtubes, an OR h or x pipe and possibly doing 3" duals, dumped before the rear end, but probaly pointing down. Still loud, but I heard you loose a lot of HP by going over the axle.

open headers will be quite loud
but seriously mine isnt that loud either and im kinda pissed about it too... i meant its alright but it would be nice louder but h/c/i would do you wonders i cant wait to have enough $$$ for that
