two things one my car is pedestal mount,and two my intake won't pull that high..
stud 7/16's and jay's springs he can design to your desires....fast88 can help you with that..since he's revving to almost 9k

Deck that block to 0, match everything not to go over 10.5 (a dished piston should do), do a good valve train setup (not pedestals please).....and Jay should take care of the cam requirements once you configure intake (single plane and 750 cfm DP minimum).........

that's why i explained to jasper my situation joel.....studs all the way dude!
i had my motor together way before i talked to jay,and three cams earlier....i'm happy with my set-up thus far...hell a streetable 11 sec for what i have i can't complain

What you are doing when you are 'running the valves' on a solid lifter/solid roller motor is checking that things haven't moved. IME, 98% of the time nothing has either.
With the solid stuff you have a tunability that you can't have with a hydro-roller.
You can actually play with the duration a little bit by opening or closing the lash.
