Question about MAF converstion..VSS
Well, I have started my convertion and I have gotten conflicting info on the VSS. My car does not have this sensor, no cruise controll. I have read one place that it is optional to wire this up, then in another place that has to be done and I have to purchase the sensor to do so. Anyone know for sure? If I don't have the sensor, would it be worth the extra hassle?
I also wonder about the fuel pump relay, I have also read that this hook up is optional, then in another place it has to be done. I plan on doing it, but I was just wondering what would happen if I didn't do it.
Thanks for the info in advance!

Yep....it is required, and worth the extra hassle. The VSS input is used for idle control and prevent stalls when you're coming to a stop.....why would it be connected to the ECM if the input is not used?

vss sends a signal to your tps to tell it if it's under load or at idle...then your rpm will adjust up or down when clutch is depressed...
