Default Tires and sidewall height

What will make a car have faster accerleration. A car with 245-60-15 or a tire with the size 245 50 15, what will help the acceleration a car with a taller tire 28" tall or a tire with 26" tall?

the shorter tire will give you a better effective gear ration, resulting in more torque to the ground... but... the taller sidewall tire will provide more grip because you can get a bigger contact patch with lower tire pressure.

the smaller the tire the faster you will accelerate ASSUMING that you dont spin them. that tire should definetly fit the stock rim

you really dont need a 27 tall tire unless your spraying and running gears. most stangs run 26 stick with these

245-50s will provide better acceleration. The 50 means the sidewalls are 50% of the tread width or 122.5 mm. Where as the 60s are 147mm tall.
