Default huge power loss?

i finished my cobra upper/lower install and fixed my whole timing problem and my car runs... only problem is it feels extremley hesistant and bucks while accelerating. The distributer is pushed all the way against my lower manifold even though it wasnt before the upper and lower install. Any ideas?

Sounds like the timing is a tooth off. I would recheck the installation.

Have you lined everything up on TDC? If so, where was the rotor pointing?

It should be pointing at #1 on the cap.

well yeah but you can move the cap about 2 inches in either direction so what i did was found tdc and slowly rotated the cap as i was turning the motor over and was able to find a spot where it started. Theres a small, barely noticable notch in the base of thedistributer which is suppose to tell you where the cap should line up

my timing is set a 12* and the dist. anint all the way against the
manifold.

hesitance = timing problem

a professional will get you fixed up in about 10-15 minutes
when I TRIED to install the manifold my self, I did the same
thing, put the dist. inn the WRONG way. good luck
