Default fuel lines from hell

ok guys, so I was replacing the fuel pump on my 94 GT this weekend, and evidentally screwed myself. I purchased the fuel line disconnect tool, and used it accordingly.

One of the lines came right off as it should, but the second was very contrary, but finally came out. Once I had already put the new pump in and was hooking everything back up I noticed that when I tried to hook up one of the fuel lines (at the pump) it wasnt connecting correctly. It felt very loose, so I looked inside of the fuel line.

The small clip from inside the fuel line that keeps the fuel pump connection tight is messed up. If you try to connect the line, it "snaps" on but the hose still wiggles and leaks gas everywhere.

I went to Ford because there is no autoparts store that carries the correct clip I need. Ford as discontinued the clips and the fuel lines.

There are no junk yards around here to find a mustang GT to get the right clip.

Let me know if anyone out there has any suggestions or comments about where I can find what I need. Looks like Im screwed if I cant find the clip I need.

Thanks fellas.
