Whether you can use the blower is dependent on the application. What years was it designed to fit, and what year is your car? Stock comp. was 9.25:1, I wouldn't boost anything higher than that without some o-ringed heads or cometic gaskets.
stock compression is 9:1.... dont screw with me

From what I've read the E7 chamber volume varied between 60.6 and 63.6. Personally, if I were putting a power adder on my motor I'd count on the highest compression ratio variances would allow.

without intercooling a stock 5.0 with 9.5:1 compression ratio can only hold 5-6 psi of boost before detonation becomes a problem. ...

nobody even mentioned the fact that since the motor is rebuilt who knows what kinda pistons it has. if it was an OEM spec rebuild chances are the shop used cast pistons to save a buck and that would lower your boost potential even more. dont wanna nuke a pistolio now do ya?

yeaa 308 is a 302 .40 overbored. with a supercharger u need to watch the cr. if its at a reasonable cr like below 10.1 than yea the charger will work.
10:1 wow, your on crack...... I wouldnt boost a motor past 9:1
adder i think hes prolly runnin a 306 and just dont know it. i said the same thing about the boost but my brother has a 95 cobra with stock bottom end and hes running 14 lbs. of boost off of a kenne belle and i told him he would fry it but evedently his time spent tuning it is working cause hes got over 150 passes on it and its still running 10.99 to 11.20s in the 1/4 mile and compression is all still near perfect. its just how bad will he hurt it when he does ya know

It could very well be a 306 but it has a dss bottom end. i've been trying to get in touch with the guy to find out the cr. it's a completely built motor with aftermarket parts. to me the likelyhood of having 9:1 compression is unlikely. why would you go through all the trouble of rebuilding it and leave stock pistons? plus on a dynojet it's running close to 400rwhp.

The guy i just talked to said with a supercharger the compression would need to be lower not higher. plus with the built engin i have whether it be a 306 or 308 i would still be able to run 12lbs of boost without an intercooler.
