Default Timing pointer

Where on the timing cover is the timing pointer bolted too. Is it accessablewith out removing the balancer or can it be bolted without removing it.

On the pass side of the timing cover held on w/ 2 bolts I believe. Balancer removal not needed.

I found one for8 bucks on ebay, it will be nice to see what my timing is now, thanks for the input guys.
