hey guys i just want your opinion on if i should use a 65mm t/b or a 70mm t/b. i have some thumper ported gt40's with a 70mm opening gt40 intake and a 76mm maf. i know that the t/b size and maf size should be close, can i slide by with a 65mm or is it better to put on a 70mm.

 

i thought the GT40's opening was 65mm like the cobra? ....in any case, a 65mm would be more than enough.

 

ok, what about the 76 mm maf tho, i heard the maf and t/b should be close. thats why i was wondering if i should get a 70mm t/b instead. will there much difference in power between the two? i just want the maf and t/b to work good together so if the 11mm difference wont hurt, its fine.

ideally you want about a 5mm difference, so if you already have the 76mm, might as well get the 70mm TB, but a 65mm and slightly smaller MAF would've been more than enoguh for your current setup.
