Default Converting from the import scene...

I have an opportunity to purchase a friends '94 GT 5.0 litre. I have always loved the sound these cars make, and am going to start another project. My current project has been an older '92 Jetta with a VR6 swap as seen below. It's been a fun car but I am ready to get some real muscle. Any tips anyone has on what to look for on this car would be great, problematic issues, etc. I test drove the car Saturday and love it already.

Pics of the VW project: The VR6 sounds nice, but the 5.0 sounds better.

Also been wanting to throw some exhaust on this car once I pick it up. Any suggestions? Really look forward to start this project.

+1 it will sound good and be a pretty decently priced set up and will net you some performance gains deffanitly... people might give you crap for running flowmaster's.. but hey.. they do sound good.. if you want a really loud stang, run the shorty headers, off-road h-pipe, anda SLP LM1 cat back. you wont be disapointed.

i would say go for it, but i am pretty pissed off at my 5.0 right now, but thats after driving the 99 cobra for a few months and then having my dad pay me back all the money i put into it just because "he likes the way it drives", so i guess if you are coming from a fart can 5.0 is a special thing. but from a 4.6 no
