Default Performance advice please

I did a compression check on my car yesterday. I've got one piston sufferingsevere blowby. I put a can of engine restorer in with the oil hoping to get back some of my compression while I'm finding the parts I want to use for the rebuild. I figure, since I have to rebuild the engine anyway, I might as well go ahead and get the performance stuff that I want, and (unbelievably) my wife agreed to it. This leaves me in a quandry... What should I get. I already know that I want to go with a stroker kit that uses forged crank, pistons, and connecting rods. Any Ideas on which one is best? I'll also be getting a new cam and 1.7 roller rockers, and new heads, but again, no idea on which ones to get. My car is used mainly on the street for now, but will be more of a street driven strip car when I get back from Iraq, and money isn't going to be a problem because deployment pay is great. I'm planning on going with a s/c (although I have yet to decide whether to get a centrifigal S/C or a twin screw) and leaving nitrous the hell alone. I have the mechanical skills to do the work myself, but since I am still new to the Mustang world (and V8's in general) I'm a bit out of the loop one the setup I should go with. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

you dont need a forged crank, youre stock block will split in half well before you have to worry about the crank. a cast crank would be fine.
http://www.fordstrokers.com/index.phplook here, they got good prices and have heard of alot of people using them. or FullAuto on here sells 347 stroker kits for cheap. pm him.

if everything is gonna be new why not go 351 or better yet a 351 stroker? not incredibly much more and it offers more power and the possiblilty to handle more power. just my .02

I don't want to go with a 351 stroker kit (I was going to go 427, but decided against it) because i'm getting another 302 for free off a buddy of mine, and I want the motors to be swappable, andI've heard you have to relocate the motor mounts to put a 351 in a fox.

personally id go with a 331 from coast high performance http://coasthigh.com/, and maybe a set of afr's instead of the brodix heads they use.
but its a good article to give yousome ideas. you might wanna stick w/ 1.6 rockers also.

thats not true. will bolt right in.. you will just need to buy a cowl hood of some sort to clear the extra height of the 351.

and i would seriously look into the 427w.. i have been toying with that idea sice i got my car, 427w twin turbo or 427 with a kenne bell.

That's great. My mind is made up. I'm planning on leaving the exterior looking bone stock (with the exception of the cowl hood). If I can just bolt in a 351, than I'm going to go ahead and start looking for a 351w to get started on. I appreciate the help

look for a 94 or newer 351w. they use roller cam motors like the 5.0 ho's and you can use any 5.0 ho cam in it then.
