RE: stock 5.0 block
yeah, ok well my engine dyno'd 577, but i dont know what im at for rwhp i would think probably high 400's, but i have a fairly new NOS system i purchased when my car was mostly stock, and now its just lying on the garage floor, and i want to hook it back up just so no one walks away with it. but i dont know how small of a shot i can go to, or if my block can even handle any more power.

bhp x drivetrain loss = whp
577 x .82 = 473whp.... 18% is generally used for a manual...you'll lose a good bit more out of a c4 but you get the idea. point is you're in the red zone.stock block is a ticking timebomb after 450whp... some hold for a while...others don't ...it's just a matter of time.
