Default which pistons????

i am just about ready to pull my motor and throw my goodies on and redo and cant decide which pistons to go with?wanting forged.also looking to keep the compression ratio below 9.5 to later run boost lokking for a good overall piston and rings kit for 500 and under can anybody help me???? oh i am goin to run twisted wedges with a 61cc chamber.

So you are prepared to spend ~$500 on pistons and rings? Then spend more money on having your stock crank turned and your stock rods resized? How much money do you really think you'll have in this rebuild? How much better of a deal is it to just go straight to a 347? New crank, new forged rods, ARP cap screws, Probe forged pistons, rings and bearings all for $750. 15% more motor for virtually the same price when it's all said and done.

we'll i found a set of probe pistons and total seal ring kit for 405 to my door i got a good hookup on some good decent priced machine work 80 for turn if i have to 50 to resize rods with arp bolts 50 more to hang pistons and rings

i'd just go with speed pro's if you dont have tons of cash. most of their pistons are TRW stuff just under the new name. very high quality stuff, hell ford has used trw pistons for plenty of oem stuff over the years
