RE: new clutch suggestions
thanks everyone i just ordered the king cobra clutch kit. anything more than that i think would be overkill. thank you all for your help. the car is still on the original clutch and it's pretty rough so i'm hoping this will make it a lot better. i hope this one lasts another 17 years!

i wish my king cobra lasted 3 1/2 months, mine died in 3000 miles and my LMC CF lasted 15000 (b4 the car got wrecked) and since the motor is out i pulled the clutch out to inspect it and it looks like ithas a few hundred miles

i hope so too. some of friends had the king cobra clutch and they didn't last very long at all. for instance one is saving to buy another clutch for his 91 he only had the clutch 3 1/2 months

RE: new clutch suggestions
yea it's possable to go overkill, my clutch for instance is WAY more than my car needs, but i beat the hell out of it and it looks new after 15000 miles heres a realy good example of over kill goto specs web site and look at the stage 5, thats is over kill at it's best

RE: new clutch suggestions
yea i kno the spec 5 would be overkill and stuff like that. i was just askin if there was any variables other than drivability like pedal pressure and engagement (obviously important if its on the street) and cost.
