my idle hangs around 1500 rpm for 10-30secs. when i let off the gas ...used to only do this when cold but now it does it all the time .....any ideas on how to fix this?

start with the simple....clean the throttle body...check your cable...then check tps...now what i think it might be clean your iac the valve body likes to stick when gummed up

how do you clean the iac ...what does it look like ?

acelerator cable? that was my problem when mine stuck

the cable doesnt seem to move when the idle dies down ....so i assume its not sticking i have cleaned inside the throttle body and all the springs beneath it ....actually that about the time the porblem got worse

took the sensor off the top and front sides....cleaned em up....runs like a champ
