yea? i had the same problem. so i went out to the store and got allen key ones. then i STILL COULDNT GET IT ON cause the pocket everyday allen set that flips open wont give you enough space to tighten them down you need one with a long shank. i got the hex heads on there i put the bolts on the socket and threaded them in sideways and they walked themselves in straight and somehow didnt slip off i guess i got lucky.

i just changed mine to macunderdrives 2 days ago and had to get the allen bolts. just bring your stock bolt with you to hardware andthread it on a nut this will establish size and thread pitch. then jus find a hardened allen head bolt of same size, thread pitch, and length. i would reccomend never siezing the bolts before installation or locking washer. i spent a total of $4.76 on mine and that was with the locking washers.
