Are those going to out perform your afrs? That is wierd how theres nothing inbetween the intake runners, you would think that would want something there just to keep clamping force on the head gasket.

Yes they outflow AFR 185's,
specially at lower lift when the valve first starts to open
I can see why AFR's cost so much and so highly held too.
The AFR's came with CNC machined combustion chambers and
CNC machined intake runners. These are still a little rough from casting.

anyways, good news about them flowing better right as the valve opens. should give you evenbetter throttle response then.

About 3-4,000 miles on the heads.
Upgraded mostly for the 64cc chambers on the RHS's to lower compression for boost.
You can spend $1,000 just on porting.
I got these for right at $1,500 - sell my AFR's for $1,000 and only cost me $500 to upgrade.
and someone saves $400-500 on a set of barely used 185's with upgraded springs for cams with lift over .550
