i am just about ready to build my motor for my 91 gt. was just gonna do a trickflow top end kit with the street heat intake,trw's,24# injectors,73c&l,full exhaust,65mm tb. but now i am leaning towards a 331 kit real hard for the extra cubes and hp. i just bought all this stuff except the pistons, and i am wondering if like the injectors ,tb,and the trickflow stage 1 would be alright with this kit.or would i have to upgrade some stuff.

full auto i might be hitting u up for a kit real soon if i can make up my mind thanks.

 

That will all interchange between a 331 and 302. To make a 331 you would just be buying a new bottom end is all, new crank rods and pistons, which is what changes the displacement from 302 to 331.

 

i know that it will change all over i was just wondering performance wise how it would be. and roughly how much hp a 331 kit will add in general worth the money

 

i pretty much have the same set up as you listed....I havent had the chance to dyno it but i hopeing for good results

 

really what size tb? trickflow cam or ?,what intake i know trickflow. what kit did u buy and from where?

 

you'll be fine with your other upgrades - its only 25 more cubes than a .030 302

 

so what is the lowest/average hp gain from one of these kits
