if a filter doesnt help... id run a cylinder balance test on it... that will narrow your problem down quite a bit... i need to do one on mine, as it backfires when its in closed loop... 1st thought for me is o2s(hey could be ur problem too!) but it could be an injector... a balance test will tell u.

this may sound retarded but by balance test are you talking about a compression test. If not what is a balance test
