Nah, you don't want Dynomax. I did the opposite of what you're talking about and I couldn't be happier (well...maybe ). Dynomax did have a nice tone, but it was really mellow and I wantedthe carloud.

Ya know ill jump on this one also. If you ever head of Ravens They flow like a flowmaster And have a great sound. And just a tiny bit cheaper but still in the same price range. They have been out for a long time also. But hey to make my post pointless its the sound your looking for realy dont matter any of our imputs its what you like/want your car to sound. I personaly run stock headers, pace setter H-pipe with side dumps. (summit part num psm-82-1110 ) Shes loud as hell but thats the sound i want. As goes the same for you listen to clips find the sound you are looking for and go for it as long as you muff is hight flow aka 1 or 2 chamber then you exhaust numbers will be good. Its realy a personaly preference thing .

+ 100, any name brand hi-flow muffler (and some generics) are all gonna perform very close in HP gains so its all about the sound when it comes right down to it

*edit* headers with bolt on glasspacks are hawt

dynomax ultra flowes are currently the best flowing muffler on the market, way better then the chokmasters, however, they are a bit quiet, so it depends if you want your car a sleeper or loud and obnoxious
