Nice, cleaned up aluminum intakes usually sell for $80-$100 on e-bay. I sold 2 and that has been the average. Carbs for some reason don't seem to bring quite as much- too many things to be wrong internally maybe? Standard size pistons are iffy cause if someone is rebuilding a motor, most likely they are reboring the blocks! However, it it definately worth listing them, some money is better than none at all. Besides there are some people on e-bay that will buy anything! Just saw a guy last week pay 150 for a bent up craftsman side tool box they could have bought new from sears for 69.99!

shipping would be ALOT, but just an FYI you can use a flat tappet cam in a roller block no problem. hell its better cause the lifter bores are longer so it'll support high lift cams with greater stabilty

The block that i have is a flat tappet block . I'm not sure if it is any different than the HO block though, I've heard that the earlier blocks are stronger. Anyways, I'm going to wash the stuff this weekend in the blast cabinet at my work and throw them up for sale on e-bay sometime this weekend. I'll let you guys know.

I never new that thanks!
I assume I would use my lifters of course but use the puchrods out of the roller motor correct?
I hope I can find a good block soon, I kinda of wish my cam was a tad bigger. Would I gain anything going to a roller cam besides if I buy a more aggressive one?

roller > flat tappet even if the specs were the same. just like roller rockers are better than regular rockers
