Default Installing a Trick Flow Intake 2.

I finished installing my Trick Flow upper/lower intake today. It was a pain because I could not tighten one stup** bolt in the right rear of the upper intake. I couldnt get my smallet wrench to fit in there, the machining of the intake was in its way. I had no other problem with any other bolts. I also installed a 70mm throttle and egr, but when I turned the car on there was an anoying WHISTLING NOICE. Can someone tell me what the heck that is, I think its coming from my throttle body? Is there any way to get rid of it or is thats how its gonna operate? Thanks for all your input!

I know mine, and a few other people on here with trick flow intakes have a whistling noise. I think it is just the design of the intake, but you may want to check for a vacuum leak

yep, I finally found the "search" option in this site and it seems to be a common thing with aftermarket 70mm throttle bodies. someone needs to find a solution to this issue that most people are having with these T/B.

Tomorrow im gonna clamp every single vacuum line. I read that a guy drilled a hole inside his throttle and it helped him,... I also noticed whenI took off my stock throttle body that IT had a hole on the left side of the buterfly plate, maybe he has a point. or does he? cause one guy followed in his footsteps and didn't work for him.

Its very common with BBK throttle bodies. You think yours was loud ?!?! Listen to my 88 GT!! (with a 70mm BBK TB)

Im like 20 feet AWAY from my motor bay and you can still hear it... for a quick second you can hear it over my exhaust too!
