RE: h.c.i-vs-blower
i like ^^^. hahah. seriously though, w/ a blower, youll have to swap out injectors and bigger fuel pump and all that crap. w/ h/c/i its a "bolt n go" operation. few hours of time, and youre lookin at between 300-350hp. i say h/c/i. and blower wise, id go with Procharger. AND either Systemax or Trickflow would be good. im gonna go w/ the Trickflow full upper, or Trickflow intake and AFR heads..good luck.

Hey I would go HCI there is always room for a blower later on.. I am going to get the Trick Flow Twisted Wedge system... It is awesome, and with those heads you get 2.02/1.80 without notching your pistons!

ill tell you what i think, take it or leave it
first off to get 300 HP from a supercharger or 300 from h/c/i you will need the same fuel components because the same amount of fuel is delivered. either case you will need to upgrade your fuel components.
if you want 350 horse from h/c/i you can easily do this with the trickflow package summit now sells for about 2 grand. if i were you i would jump on this kit because its easy, fun and very reilable.
a supercharger is fun and all but i would really focus on the basics like the h/c/i and then maybe a year from now when your bored of that power, you can slap on the SC. i say go for h/c/i because of the versatility and how it promotes engine life.

being "poor" and in college with 3 kids I would highly recommend you stay with heads, cam, and intake mods rather than a blower which can create some reliability problems that won't be there if you go H-C-I and one of the pre-packaged one like the Systemax should do you fine.

the blowers look killer..but i think i will more than lickley go with the h.c.i set up..like this..i can buy it in pieces..than save a little$$ and get a blower...but how fast will a 5.0 be with the trick flow paCKAGE...and 4.11 gears ..5 speed..slicks..and yes i can drive
