Default Rust

I have some rust I need to get rid of. Anybody have any faith in the chemical treatments that are out there? I usually sand-disk grind the rust first then use this rust check inhibitor. My concern is this repair is in a spot that will show up like a sore thumb if it comes thru. I know sandblasting is the way, but you still need to treat the metal. What works? Thanks in advance.

The best way is removing the rusted panel or atleast cutting out the rusted part.
My Mustang is in the bodyshop now and the rusty sections are being cut out and replaced with new metal.
Im getting the fenders replaced completely.

What if it was a small spot in the rear sill of the hatch? Even if its not a hole (Yet) you would still cut it out?

If no hole then just sand/grind it out until its gone.
