I'm tellin' ya there is a ton of people building huge horsepowah on them old blocks and they do great. If you can get yo hands on a late model 351 and benefit from the roller type thang then BOOYAH

I like the fact youhave a 4-4500.00 dart block is all you have as I'll have a short block done! with je pistons,forge crank sporting 434 cubes

The aftermarket 302 blocks are roughly the same price as a sportsman 351. There is no replacement for displacement. But, if you're not planning on running over 600hp for a while, why not just get a stock 351 block and get your project rolling sooner? Then, when it's time to upgrade (and you have the money), sportsman time. As MadMan put it...boo yaa

don't get me wrong those block are the $hit but unless this car makes $$$$$$ or your keeping it 4ever why outlay the $$$$$. I KNOW I'M CHEAP...........AND FAST

cause you can get 477 (i think it was) out of a 351w block

Pffffht I don't have a Dart block. I have a good ole siamese bore 4blt main Motorsports Windsor beeyatch that I picked up fo' $1250....I got me some connections Beeyatch[8D]
