i have the same setup the 5liter87 described.

it fits ok.. mine took a little adjusting because of the AOD

sounds good at all rpm's.. i am probably going to get longtubes if i switch out the h-pipe for an x

there was a very very small leak between the headers and xpipe and also the pipes on my flowmaster kit didn't quite clear the rear axle so i have have dumps now.

No cats...you are lucky. I am in Cali where that type of behavior is simply not accepted

If you do not have to deal with emmission laws...go with a set of Long Tube Headers...which calls for a smaller mid pipe.

Don't let anyone mess with you...that Flowmaster Sound is what drove most of us to even want a Mustang

yep mine are quiet even with an off-road h-pipe

sounds good when you get on it though... verrry throaty

great for wanting the extra performance of no cats but not all the attention from the po-po

dont get me wrong i like the sound of flows, but i think they are to quiet and my old ones had wayyyy to much drone for my taste
