Vacuum leak on that side of the motor. How does it run. Clogged injector maybe?

wouldnt bad fuel press **** it all up?

and where could i look for a vac leak? i dont think it has one...but i could be wrong... but as far as i know, ive looked and dont see one... what should vac at idle be?

and the injector thing is exactly what im thinking, but just looking for more ideas

as for how it runs, like ****... backfires/hesitates/bogs... its bad, but only when it wants to be down at low rpms, and always above 4k

the smoog pump has been known to cause backfires... you dont hear it though cuz it gets muffled by the cats... Delete the smog system and I bet your problem goes away
