Has this stang ever had NOS on it, thats some pitting. Could be NOS, if your a second or third onwer of the car

Only those two. I was in the process of locking it out at 28* when the head gasket went and I tore it down.

#7 looks like deation? towards the middle of the piston? some one didnt tamoer with youe motor when you went looking ? some *** hole will put **** down your moteo for no reason but to mess your cara up i hope that not the case ..why did you tear it down ? case of noise or started running bad?

i was thinking the same thing about the flowmasters lol

could very well be detonation, although it really DOES look like something was bouncing around in there

*edit* they should be ok to run though, doesnt look like anything was deep

I got some debris in my engine from my flowmaster. What's so hard to understand about that? I know how an engine works.

so your saying there was enough backpressure to suck welding slag all the way up the exhaust system, up the headers, and into the cylinder? that just seems so far-fetched[&:]

i've seen header slag do this, but only from an airboat where the headers pointed up...... and that was only once i saw that.
