You sure what ever you did w/ the exhaust, there wasn't a wire touching somewhere. Never heard of what you're asking happening.

That makes no sense what so ever....none..read it twice and was more confused that before. Are you asking about a bad ground? if so the exhaust is not an issue.

Well that car wa running ****ty- cutting out and ****, hit the clutch to put it in gear and it'd start surging and cutting out, I started thinking while id be driving. Hmmmm... it seems to only do this when it rattle against the frame. So when i got home from work, I was idling the car and would push the pipe away and the fuel pump would wine different, and the idle would change. Did this like 4 times, and was like-sh*t im gonna climg underneath and tighten the bolt to move the pipe away from the frame(its a bolt on x-pipe kit) i did that and its stopped. Took it for a ride and its perfectly fine now.
So i wonder is my engine grounded and this was changing the ground to it, or is it not-anway i dont really care its better then it was
Sorry this is as confuing for me as for you

Is the engine grounded correctly? Besides the ground from the battery, I have a strap from the block to the frame as well.
