Default Putting Shorty headers on friends car.. need help

Were putting my old BBK shortys on my buddys 5.0. Whats the best way to get them in underneath or on top? also he wanted me to ask dose he have to take the steering shaft out or not?

if they are unequals they will slide right in from the top. you will have to take out all the thermactor crap on the passenger side if that junk is still in place, but other than that it is cake. If they are unequals you maybe able to get away with sliding them in from the top if they are MAC individual flanged, but if they are BBK single flange then you gotta jack the motor up a bit in order for them to slide in.

post up year, type of headers and brand and you can get more specific advice
