It's basically a chemical intercooler used mainly for forced induction applications. from what ive gathered Snow Performance makes a pretty good kit.

Think of it as a "chemical"intercooler for a car with a supercharger or turbocharger. It basically cools the air temp in the intakeand increase the octane very slightly, thus allowing you to run more timing and allowing you to get more power. Without forced induction, it's a waste of money.
