Trickflow Twisted Wedge heads are cheaper and I think they are better than the AFR's.

buy someusedgt-40's(or gt-40p's..but you need new P headers then.) and send them to thumper and have them ported. they will flow just as good as out of the box AFR 165's. and you will be into it for about 800 bucks with buying the heads.

yea but ur reliing on flow bench numbers alone, these heads and afrs are still no comparison. the afr's will still run away from these heads. find some used trick flow twisted wedge heads, and port them u will make much more power than a 165 head.

Eddy RPM heads are right up there with the AFR heads...plus they arrive with a better spring package. My Eddy RPM small valve heads with just a little port work outflow the AFR head nicely and at a much nicer price.

Better - yes, cheaper - no theyre abot the same price.
-P.
PS: If you get trick flows get the HI-PORTS not the twisted wedge.

dude we just had a huge debate over these heads, the twisted wedge heads are better for beginners, such as myself. ucan only run a certain type of headers wit the Hi Ports.
