engine ground wire???

the car isnt running that well then i noticed it does not have one.

The ground from the battery to the block should be sufficient but it wouldn't hurt to run one from the block to the frame. That's what I did.

well the previous owned told me the ecm has splices from the old stand alone. (ex-turbo car) where is the ecm?
