Please help me w/ HP figures
Hey guys, I really enjoy these forums and would appretiate it if you guys can give me a rough estimate of how much hp my car is making. I do not live near any dynos so I cant figure it out myself. My mods include 5.0 motor bored .030 w/ E303 cam, ford racing GT40 intake, 24 lb. injectors. 70mm throttle body, K+N, Lontubes w/ offroad H pipe and Flowmasters, MSD ignition, motorsport wires, im sure im forgetting something but these are the main engine mods. How much hp do you guys think im making at the flywheel and how much is getting to the rear wheels. . Also, I have and adjustable fuel pressure regulator that I haven't installed yet, and I was thinking about adding a C+L mass air meter (please reccomend size), How much diffrence do you guys think these would make. What would be a good cheap head upgrade for my combo? Thanks in advance for all of your help, I really appretiate it.

hey Aliate X, the E303 has a nice lope and pulls good off idle until about 5500-5800 rpms. It seems like it kinda falls off at higher rpms than that. This is how it works with my setup anyway. I hope this Helps.

A lot of people talk trash about the ford motorsport cams but I like mine pretty well. It pulls much harder than a stock one. I didnt have any trouble outrunning a ram air trans am WS6 a few weeks ago from about a 20 mph roll, his was a 6 speed too. My buddy had a B cam and gt40p heads on his 306 and it ran very well.

i would say 300 rwhp, and get a 76mm mass air or anywhere around there.. make sure its for #24's.... and if you put a good shot of nos on there you could be in the 400 range i bet
