RE: possible trans/clutch problem
its cool, just dont want u tellin ppl wrong shyt... leave the trans stuff to me and lenny jk, its cool man, we all do it.
the clutch, does it slip? if it slips then yes its going bad
if it wont go into 2nd at high rpms try it at low rpms, and try it w. the car off-doing this will tell me if its a syncro or shift rod/fork problem... so far im thinking syncro tho
and reverse... its not syncroed... when u go to shift into R put it in 5th(or any forward gear) then reverse... itll go in smooth

it shifts smoothly at low rpm's and when the car off its the same.I can shift at high rpm's if I granny shift but it I just try to slam it back fast it wont catch.

RE: possible trans/clutch problem
can you just replace a synchro or do you have to do a full rebuild. Im sure it would be in my best interest to do the full rebuild but money is tight. God damn college!

RE: possible trans/clutch problem
Hey I have a link that is for a t5 rebuild, its the whole thing. If you can get the trans out of the car then you can rebuild it!!! Blue Oval Industries has great prices on clutches also!!! http://www.ttcautomotive.com/English...0-0199_173.pdf
