Default Chrome vs. Polished

Which wheels would u recommend. What is the difference in visual appearance if any? I know they are cheaper but does polished shine like chrome?

Then probably chrome, although polished seems to be chatching on, in any since, you'll have to clean them semi often to keep their shine.

chrome has more of a mirror shine
polished is just a nice bright shine.

when chrome goes bad it rusts and looks like crap
when polish goes bad you bust out the Mothers PowerBall and you have a new wheel again.

its not even the crome that goes bad its the nickel underneith the crome that rusts through the crome. the crome is just a wicked clear/blueish coat that goes over the nickel. i saw how you crome stuff its crazy cool

right, I know how nickel/chrome plating works
just using the term

its the base plating that starts to come off on "chrome" wheel

get chrome.... aluminm is a pain in the ***... unless u got a good grade of aluminum wheel there a bitch to keep shiney.... and all the **** on the road eats away at hte aluminum wheels and pits hte hell outta htem... chrome is simply cleaning... hell every few days all u have to do is spray then down and wipe them off with a rag... then when u wash the hole car wash them too and take some polish and give them a quick... like 5 mins a wheel. polish up to keep htem looking brand new.... aluminum is 10x the work minum... chrome will not rush unless it chips... which if u say way from curbs u wont ever get chrome ot chip unless some1 purposely does it... i have my 03 cobra aluminum rims... so im selling htem i got 03 black chrome rims instead.... if u dont mind polishing them after every time u drive then get aluminum....

yes aluminum wheels can be pain in the *** to keep clean sometimes . but look at it this way if ur good at polishing wheels you can keep them for ever and always look good . even if get pits in them i have polished many sets of wheels with sand paper and lot rubbing ya thats lot damn work but i think its worth it when done . chrome wheels give them 2 years and they will have some kind rust or some dull spots . then what you gonna do ur not gonna sand those to get the shine back lol .and plus like said they are lot heavier . all 4 of my weld wheels prob weigh bout same as 2 chrome wheels and hell with all that i wanna keep everything as light as possable . but guess every one has there own oppion bout it tho ...
