Default Muffler question

Well I just got my two new mufflers and am a little intimidated by installing them myself. I consider myself mechanically inclined, and have done quite a bit of work on my car myself, but I just thought I would run my plan by you guys and see if it clears. I dont have the tools/know-how/experience to weld, so I am going clamps. Has anyone done this and can say whether or not clamps are decent, or if I should definitely have them welded?

Theres nothing wrong with clamping, just dont go too tight otherwise itll leak and sound like poop. Or you could take it to a muffler shop and pay them like $80 bucks to throw em in there for you.
-P.
PS: Put muffler cement on the mating ends of the pipes.

i would have someone just weld em up. but i bought a jegs h pipe and in the middle of the H it has clamps to hold them together so probbly would work.

In my opinion clamps are the best. In welding its pretty much permenate( Unless you cut) but clamps you can lossen and adjust.

Already got quoted $120 to install em from my local muffler shop, and the guy told me they aren't street legal, when they definitely are...
