I NEED HELP!!! Won't start and i dont know why
This is the deal. I have new plugs, new fuel pump, I'm getting really good clean spark at the plugs. Engine compartment smells like hella fuel every time I attempt to start it. Timing is definatly not off and the distributor is not loose, But of course, it won't start. Any ideas???

Both of my mustangs have smelled strong when the weren't firing and being cranked. Its not like its knocking me out or anything, but when I smell close to the intake it is noticable. Does anyone know what the symptoms would be if the ecu went out? Its ran perfect on the way home and the next day it won't do a damn thing

the problem with computer controlled cars is that there is really NO way to tell if the ECU is bad, you have to eliminate EVERYTHING else first, and then guess when you replace the ECU.
I wouldn't say this is your problem. Are you sure your getting good spark all the way out to the plugs? I recently worked on a 91hatch that had a signal to the coil, but for whatever reason, the coil wouldn't send the spark out. Turned out the ignition module was bad. That was a first for me, I'd never seen that happen.

this is tough, any further true diagnosis of the fuel system is gonna take a bit of work, and a few dollars for new gaskets.
before we get crazy, lets remind ourselves that the ignition module and PIP signal control the injector pulse. if one was faulty, it just might flood it out.
