Default Found my problem>>Blown head gasket..

This is my first thread. I'm sorry if its hard to understand. Ok soi bought my car around a year ago and it's been a great ride. It's been in my family since it was new so it's kinda like mybrother.I'm in college so it's my daily driver. Well around a month ago onmy way to school it over heated. So i had my brother check it out and he noticed that the timing cover was leakingcoolant and needed to be replaced. So i had him fix it. Well i thought everything was fine until last week when i was driving home from school. I started noticing a power loss and alot of shaking so i slowed it down and stopped at a gas station. Again i had to call my brother up to take a look at it( He's a Ford tech but work's for Porsche). This time he told me i had a blown head gasket . My guess isit started with the overheating a month prior andslowly started going down hill from there. So last week i started taking my engine apart and this week i finally got the heads off. It wasn't as hard as i thought it would be. Just a bunch of bolts. Oh and the haynes manuel and an impact wrench were very helpful. saved alot of time.so ijust wanted to show you guys what it looked like. Let me know what u guys think or if you have any questions.

Did you happen to make sure you took notes as to where the all the bolts went?? Taking apart is easy/fun, putting it all back together can be nerve wracking if you forgot to take notes of where the bolts went beforehand.

judging by the color of the anti freeze in your bucket there, i'd say thats the reason it blew. rusty coolant is about as good as drinking bleach.

Yeah i took like 100 pictures for all the vaccum lines and electronic connections an other misc. And I also put all the bolt for the acc, upper andlower in ziplock baggies. For the headbolts i punched holes in a piece of cardboard and labeled them. I also did this for the push rods. I'm sure i'll still have an extra bolt in the end lol.
