Default header exhaust gaskets

Hey guys I just took both of my old header gaskets out of my stang because they were leaking. Thankfully all the bolts came out rather easily because I loosened them when the car was still warm! What kind of exhaust gaskets do you guys suggest I get? How should I tighten them down-With a torque wrench( if so what should I torque them to?) or just tighten nice and snug with a regular wrench. I looked in my Haynes manuel but I couldn't find a whole lot about it.
Any help would greatly be appreciated ,Thanxs

I use high temp silicone (the red stuff) Ive used it for years and all the cars I work on. NEVER leaks even with bolt or two loose. Some people may think I am crazy, but it work damn good. I never use header gaskets.

I have after market crap and it works great. The silicone goes in all the imperfections that gaskets can not.

Go down to autozone and get you a set of PERCY'S header gaskets. They are blow proof. Gaurenteed

I went to Advanced auto and bought some Fel-Pro header gaskets---they said it was one of the best out there--- and I bought some new header bolts and torqued them down to 24ft-lbs. Does that sound right? Am I going to have to re-torque them again or will I be good to go? Also I tightened the bolts from the center out . Is that correct? Thanxs for the help guys!
