Cats and fuel smell question....
Well I went to get my OhioE check today with my new 92. I guess I should have checked if I had cats on first . With that being said.... I am looking to buy this to put on with my Flowmaster Exhaust.

Noob Question #4 of the week....Currently my car smells like fuel and I thought it was running rich but is it possible I am smelling fuel due to it only having straight pipes?
Thanks Again Everyone!

Hmm im in cincinnati and they did away with e-check ? I thought that was state wide guess not. Mine has all 4 original cats and no pipes after the factory h-pipe it smells like gas but from what i heard here they all do lmao.

RE: Cats and fuel smell question....
I bought my car without the Cats and needed them for inspection. I had a muffler shop just cut enough out of my pipes and weld in the Cats and it made it through inspeciton with no problems. If you do not want to resell your old pipes you might want to look into just the Cats because they are cheaper without the whole x/h pipe and any muffler shop should be able to weld them in for about $100. Memphis only checks the Hydrocarbons and Carbon Monoxide so I did not need any of the smog pump equipment.
