Default exhaust

hey guys ive got the stock hpipe and stock headers, and im looking for a better sound. I was curious to know if the flowmaster 40s sounded nice with stock things. I wont be upgrading the headers and midpipe for about 2months, so i was just curious how they sounded with stock things. Thanks guys.

What muffler do you recommend for stock headers/stock mid pipe. Thanks.

Edit: is stock 2.25inch or 2.5inch?

Might wanna think about Hooker Aero Chambers too. I have those now, and had 40 series Delta Flows before. The Aero Chambers are a bit quieter at idle, but scream when you open it up, sound good and they performed better on my car than the Flowmasters did. Definately sound aggressive.Just my 2 cents though. Go to their sites and listen to soundbites

i would also like a decent sound tho, not like im running open headers lol. Something with a nice deep rumble to it but is loud enough to **** off and annoy people. Whatcha recommend bro? Links are good.

with an offroad midpipe 40 series flows are pretty loud, but prepare to get a nasty drone around 2000rpm. With the stock H pipe flows are on the quiet side but still louder than stock and with the stock H pipe the drone is not so bad. A lot of us have our exhaust soundclips in the exhaust thread in the stickies, check it out for lots of different setups and see what you like best.

alrighty thanks. this more then likely will be something im not gonna do for awhile. I think im gonna get 2 new tires first, then get my trak lok rebuilt, and then do my exhaust. What do you guys recommend for exhaust setups. Like specific headers o/r pipes, and mufflers.
