Default HO or not?

are crown vic HO's or not?? i am wondering because i have a 5.0L out of a crown vic and i need to know which firing order to use? also for future knowledge what is the easiest way to tell without tearing into the motor?

The only way it would be a 5.0HO is if it was a police interceptor crown vic.. other then that.. no.. no civilian crown vics came with a 5.0 HO.... if the upper intake doesnt say HO.. then it's not a HO.

this motor was supposedly a police interceptor...but i have n actual way of knowing. the guy i got it from said it was and i needed a motor fast so i took it cuz he pretty much gave it to me cuz ive known him for a while and hes a chevy guy so he had no use for it. well when i got it there was no upper intake, he said his brother or something wanted it. it made no difference to me since i was going carb. now i have it set in and i need to know which order the plug wires go. so there lies the dillemma, thats y i need to know im so close to having my stang back i can smell the rubber burning

try the 5.0HO firring order on it.. if that doesnt work.. well.. then you know you got the LO.. wich is all of 150HP..

ur all stupid, all 5.0's are hipo motors, the crown vics that they make now even have an overhead cam 4.6 hipo
