i was thinking about running a lower degree thermostat , can u let me know what u are running in ur mustang and how does it do.

Just get a 180* stat, i believe that is stock. Your best bet is stock so everything stays the same. Your ECTS does multiple things with its readings, it can cause some issues if your coolant temp is different.

is your car stock or modded, I would stay with a 195 tstat. Get a stant or a motorcraft and it will work great, if you go too low on your stat, like 160, your mileage will suffer and it is actually not good for the car, a 180 should be o.k. as well

its modified a little bit . i have the stock 195 i believe i just didn't know if u get a lower one if it would make ur car run better thanks

I agree 180. That 12* cooler will giveyou about 5 horse, according to MMFF. But like said above, 160* will probably put your car in "warm up" mode and it will run ****ty
